The Wild Adventures LIVE! concert series presented by TKO Valdosta Nissan continues Saturday, May 11 with 3x Platinum-selling artist Secondhand Serenade.

California singer/songwriter John Vesley became the number one unsigned artist on MySpace in the mid-2000’s and quickly found success under the moniker Secondhand Serenade. In 2008, “Fall for You,” the lead single from Secondhand Serenade's second album A Twist in My Story, reached number five on U.S. radio charts, eventually going 3-times Platinum-selling. Recently, “Fall For You” has experienced a resurgence in popularity on the social app TikTok. 

“Secondhand Serenade’s music brings together a generation of music fans who relate to the introspective lyrics and melodic instrumentation that helped define emo-pop music,” said Adam Floyd, director of sales and marketing. “We look forward to sharing those experiences with our guests and enjoying Secondhand Serenade’s latest projects.”

After heavy press, touring, and releasing Hear Me Now in 2010, John moved to Nashville to complete Undefeated in 2014, falling in love with the city. Settling permanently in Nashville, he diversified by writing and producing for others. Now, amidst a post-pandemic era, Secondhand Serenade gears up for a new album release, coinciding with an emo scene resurgence, and new launching new singles, including: “One” and “Handsome.”

General Admission to the concert is included free with a 2024 Season Pass, and Gold and Diamond Passholders can purchase Reserved Concert Seats at a discount. Guests who do not have a 2024 Season Pass can purchase General Admission to the concert for $10 and Reserved Concert Seats for as low as $15 as an additional cost to park admission.

Secondhand Serenade live in concert begins at 8 p.m. at the Wild Adventures LIVE! amphitheater. Reserved Seat and General Concert Admission opens at 7 p.m. 

Before the Secondhand Serenade concert, guests can enjoy live music from the Tanglers Duo from Noon to 3 p.m. and the Tanglers Band from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Water’s Edge Stage. Zach Lambert will play the stage from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
